Wheatsborough Solar Celebrates Community Benefits at Ribbon Cutting
On April 29, 2026, Apex Clean Energy welcomed local officials, landowners, and other community leaders to the recently completed operations and maintenance facility for Wheatsborough Solar to celebrate the project’s completion and the meaningful benefits it will deliver to the community.
The 125-megawatt solar project began generating electricity in 2025, producing enough to power approximately 23,000 average American homes. The completion of the operations and maintenance facility, built in partnership with Sandusky-based A.V. Lake Construction, marks the formal end of construction on the Virginia-based company’s first operating project in Ohio.
