Wheatsborough Solar submitted an application to the Ohio Power Siting Board for consideration in February 2021, and in September 2021 the Ohio Power Siting Board issued a certificate approving the project under a set of conditions. February 11, 2021: Wheatsborough Solar submitted an application to the Ohio Power Siting Board. The application can be found here.

April 12, 2021: Ohio Power Siting Board staff deemed application complete.

June 22, 2021: Ohio Power Siting Board staff issued their report of investigation. This report can be viewed here.

July 7, 2021: Ohio Power Siting Board hosts a public hearing at Margaretta High School regarding the Wheatsborough Project.

September 16, 2021:  Ohio Power Siting Board issues a certificate approving the project. The certificate  can be viewed here.

October 19, 2022:  Wheatsborough Solar issued a notice of construction start date.
